Las Vegas Entertainers Perform for Local Healthcare Workers on Frontlines

Las Vegas entertainers surprised healthcare workers across the valley on Wednesday as part of a PSA to remind Nevadans to wear masks.

The Mask-Up campaign started at Sunrise Hospital, where several dozen health care workers watched the show.

It was an unusual site outside of the hospital as a motorcade rolled through with signs saying, “Mask Up Nevada.”

There was a performance featuring multiple dancers, an Elvis impersonator and even an aerialist twirling in a hoop from a fire engine ladder.

Piff the Magic Dragon, who appeared on "America’s Got Talent," was on hand to show his appreciation for all essential workers.

"Thank you to everyone who is putting their lives on the line right now during this horrible time. Thank you for everything you’re doing. Thank you for keeping us safe," he said.

Greg Chase, CEO of Experience Strategy Associates, helped organize the event.

"These hospitals are busier than they’ve ever been. Busier than the first round of COVID. We’re here to really highlight the people who are working the frontline, who are fighting this and helping to give them a little edge to help our city do the right thing," Chase said.

The campaign is performing for 13 hospitals throughout the valley on Wednesday.

The crew wants to remind everyone to mask up to help save lives.
